Principle Our most important aim is to promote the personal responsibility and initiative of the Togolese population. We are not always as successful as we would like. Progress in the education and training sector is also difficult to measure. In order to ensure professional work, in many fields we consult with experienced sociologists, farming and training experts from Switzerland and Togo. All staff in Togo are black Togolese. The majority of them work as volunteers on this scheme, although many of them are themselves practically destitute.
